Dr. Ellie Samani and the entire team at Advanced Smile Center are dedicated to providing patients with personalized, gentle care and patient comfort is one of her top priorities. After graduating in the top ten percent of her class at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, she continues to stay active in the dental community and attends continuing education seminars every year to stay current on dental studies and findings.
Dr. Samani is dedicated to excellence in cosmetic, implant and general dentistry, specifically Zoom teeth whitening, Invisalign, TMJ and veneers. She is highly trained and skilled in the most advanced techniques of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crown, bridge, veneer, root canal, denture, and orthodontics. With proper preventative dental care, patients can have healthy and beautiful smiles with the thorough, detail-oriented attention that Dr. Samani and her team provides. Patients are impressed by the variety of treatment options that Dr. Samani is able to provide.
Outside of the office, she gives back to the community by assisting the dental clinic at Manos de Christos, and also enjoys interior decorating, gardening, and traveling. Dr. Samani is very proud of her son, Kyle, who is currently studying finance at New York University Stern School of Business.

They do try sell you toothbrushes, etc, but they weren't pushy about it.

I only put maybe for a recommendation and dinged her for bedside manner because of an interaction with a child that I heard while waiting. I personally had no problems with how she and her staff treated me, but I would recommend to my friends with children that they find someone that specializes in a younger customer base.
(I guess I shouldn't be so vague. The child was obviously in pain, but as many of you know, there's no avoiding that with a lot of dental work. I don't think the dentist did anything wrong, but I don't think she was very empathetic either. I'll see her again for my next appointment.)

Decent overall. Had to wait a bit too long and sign additional paperwork other than what Zocdoc asked for (some of which were almost duplicates). The Dentist didn't spend too much time doing the exam so felt a bit not thorough, but everyone seemed nice.

Her dental office/lobby area was clean and well kept; the receptionist was friendly, as well as other staff members. Dr. Samani was busy assisting other patients, but when she greeted me, she was welcoming and helpful.
She assessed my situation, took x-rays, photos and described several options for me.
She then wrote me out a prescription and was understanding when it came to my financial questions.

Like most people, I'm very concerned about getting the most from my insurance and cash out-of-pocket. Instead of being vague about actual cost like most of the dentists I have been to, Dr Samani was very upfront about costs and very conscious of the factors involved like my insurance maximum payout and my healthcare account.
