About Dr. Andy Tran
Hello! My name is Andy Tran, and I’m the dentist and founder of Apex Dental Studio. One of my dreams as a kid was having my own office, so I could practice the way I wanted, treat patients the way they deserve to be treated, and work with people who like to have fun, grow, and give back. Now it’s possible! I was born in San Jose, California, and moved to Falmouth, Massachusetts, as a teenager, which explains my 408 area code.
Right after, I completed my Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts Medical Center School of Dental Medicine, one of the top-ranked dental schools in the world. After spending time on both the West Coast and East Coast, I decided to set my roots in the suburbs of Austin, Texas.
In pursuit of clinical excellence, I’m currently a board member of the Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry. I’m also an active member of the Capital Area Dental Society (serving on a committee), Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking photographs, trying new foods and restaurants, and, if time permits, binging on Netflix and Hulu. Can’t wait to have you join our dental family!

I have always had dental anxiety and Dr. Andy was very Patient and understanding with me. He gave me clarification and was very gentle. I would recommend coming to this dentistry as they will take care of you. He did a great job on my procedure.

Dr. Andy was very thorough. The office has all the new technology which was fun to see. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They told me I might not get a same day cleaning but they accomadated! Wait time was a minimum and the office was very clean!

The service is immaculate! The staff is friendly and informative. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable from blankets to education on all options for treatment plans. Thank you so much to all of the staff and Dr’s here! It was my first time here and will continue to come back.

I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment, with all my paperwork filled out only to find out that my scheduled dental cleaning wouldn’t happen after all. I am now having to reschedule for the next day for the actual cleaning, even though that’s what I had booked for originally. When asked what the reason was, was because people left early. I also in customer service in the medical field and just found that very inconvenient. Peoples set aside time for these type of things due to busy lives and schedules.

Amazing visit, Ive never had a more comfortable experience. I have bad dental anxiety and this place has helped me get past my fears. I also bring my son here and he loves Dr. Andy and Dr. Le, you cant go wrong with this office.

Fantastic. Dr. Andy reviewed my oral needs & gave me options for treatment. I've been going to this office for years & I'm very happy w/ my cleanings & my invisalign results. The rest of the team is great as well.

Wonderful experience for my regular cleanings. They explain everything to you to help you understand why they recommend certain treatments. Love the technology they have, this was the first time I've seen pictures of my teeth and I was able to see my xrays.
