Going to the dentist always makes me anxious. But, Dr. Maravi is experienced and helps you to feel more comfortable. He is very professional and he really cares about the patient’s health.

Dr. Maravi provides the absolute highest level of care . He does his own cleanings and
they are the most thorough cleanings I have ever had. He also replaced a crown I had from another dentist that never fit right and was a constant bother with one that fit perfectly. And the fees he charges for his exemplary care are really reasonable and lower than what most other dentists in the area charge. I cannot recommend Dr. Maravi highly enough. He is the best dentist ever!

Dr. Maravi earned his dental degree from San Luis Gonzaga University in Ica, Peru. He later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University, College of Dentistry, where he also served as Associate Professor in the undergraduate program. After graduation, he obtained his Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. He has recently returned to the US from Germany after working since 1999 in a well-known private practice in Berlin. While in Germany, he also taught at the Free University Berlin School of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor. He recently completed four years active duty in the U.S. Air Force, deploying to Afghanistan and Mali and achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Away from the office he enjoys running marathons, classical music and traveling to new and adventurous places.
Dr. Maravi speaks four languages including German, Italian, English and Spanish.

Dr. Maravi is the BEST dentist I’ve ever had. Hands down!
He explains and communicates throughout to ensure you are on board and are educated about your dental health and procedures.
He is also extremely gentle; which is HUGE for me.
I never leave sore after a cleaning from him.
Love him and his staff! They do GREAT work and make you feel cared for.

I've been seeing Dr.Maravi for YEARS and cannot recommend him enough. I have moved further from the office but continue to make the commute for my biannual cleaning. He truly cares about his patients and their physical health, he has an excellent memory, and always follows up on any issues you may have discussed. He is truly one of the best clinicians I have met while living in the DMV for the past 7 years.
