Dr. Fredrick Paternoster, also known as Dr. Rick, is a lifelong Clifton resident. He graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, in 1973, with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
His received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1978, and completed his postgraduate residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, in July 1979. His residency fell under their General Dentistry program, with an emphasis in surgical training.
He joined his father, Dr. Angelo Paternoster, as an associate in his long-standing general practice in 1980. He benefited from this association greatly and rapidly accumulated experience with the variety of treatments that the practice provided.
In 1996, Dr. Rick purchased the practice from Dr. Angelo and his associate, Dr. Edward Kuller, and has since maintained a solo dentist office. Our family private practice welcomes all new patients but not contracted with any medicaid insurance.

My visits with Dr. Paternoster and his team are always positive. He is always professional and courteous in his dealings with my dental care, and I trust his opinion.
