Dr. Gary Schmid is a dedicated dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry in Southern California since 1975 with the help of a caring and supportive staff.
In 1971, Dr. Schmid received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. He attended dental school at the University of California Los Angeles, where he was awarded his D.D.S. in 1975. Responsive to the latest developments within the dental field he remains on the cutting edge of cosmetic and general dentistry.
Dr. Schmid has been practicing in Torrance since 1979 in his own dental office and has built a strong clientele. He is currently a member of The American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society. He has acted as an expert witness at the request of patients, health care providers, and insurance carriers. Dr. Schmid is an expert consultant for the State Dental Board of California, and a member of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society Peer Review Committee.
In his spare time Dr. Schmid loves skiing, hiking with his wife and dogs, sailing, photography, and travel.
