BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER HAD! My sister and brother-in-law both have been seeing them for years and since I moved to SF, I decided to try them out as well. You seriously could not ask for better service, attention to detail, transparency with billing, and help with anything you need. EVERYONE who works there is great, I am very happy (and who ever says that about their dentist?!)!

I am Dr. Gelareh Rahbar and I am a general dentist. I have been in private practice for more than 15 years. I graduated from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1995, Cum Laude and further pursued my education with two mini residencies: Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and Aesthetic Mini-residency; both from UCLA as well. I am Laser and Invisalign Certified making it possible for me to provide my patients with the latest updated procedures in dentistry. Many people have had unpleasant dental experiences in the past making going to the dentist an uncomfortable, unwanted thing to do; while I completely understand and validate those feelings, I just want to let you know that here at my office my staff and I will do our best to make you comfortable. Just let us know what your dental concerns and expectations are we will help you choose the right option; keep in mind that in dentistry most things are possible. Great results are achieved through non-invasive methods nowadays using new advances in the dental field. Just ask us and we will review all your options together.
Please feel free to stop by and see the office and meet me and my staff. This is a brand new dental office. It took me a year to set it up and it involved tremendous effort on everyone behalf. I have set up my practice to be what I always had envisioned as an ultimate dental experience. I have put all the latest advancements focusing on covering all of my patients’ needs. In my office you will find "honesty" to be practiced more than preached. If I am late in the morning because I forgot to set the alarm, my patient will hear a sincere apology as well as the true reason behind it instead of some made up excuses. Based on that same sincerity level, my patients can count on hearing the most unbiased dental opinion from me and my staff. My patient’s best interest has always been and will be my priority.I strongly believe in ethics; as a health provider being ethical is not just a remembered value, but a strongly observed one.
When patients ask me why I chose to become a dentist, my answer is always the same: “I truly enjoy dentistry”. It is very rewarding to address patients’ needs and concerns. One of the many reasons I know I will enjoy dentistry even more at my new office is because it is set up to provide my patients and me with luxury and technology hand in hand. You don't have to be a patient to come to my office; you can just stop by and see our facilities.Keep in mind that having a health provider you feel comfortable with is very important, so if you do have one already it is great! However,if you are looking for a dentist and you like what you see or hear about my office, please make an appointment and I will do my best to treat, modify or maintain your smile.
I moved to the Bay Area a few years ago and I must say that San Francisco set its spell on me instantly; I just love living and working in the city! My office is close to Union Square and the financial district; so, if you happen to work in the downtown area feel free to stop by during your lunch hour or if you are in the city to shop just drop by for a short break and see our practice.

I am TERRIFIED of dentists thus have put off seeing one for way longer than I'd like to admit (years and years). Rahbar and her team could not have put me more at ease. I ADORE them. Just beyond nice, compassionate, and wonderful. I could not have asked for a better dental experience. They completely calmed my nerves. I go in next week for some extensive deep cleaning (eek), but I am so glad to have these caring people work with me. I would recommend them to anyone (especially those with any trepidation). Seriously, so pleased!

The dentist and the staff were all very nice. Just a little bit too sweet for a dry & straight-to-points city person like me....
While the service was very professional and their equipments modern, it felt a bit slow. For my first visit with taking Xrays and all routine cleaning, it took 1.5 hours in total in the dentist office.

went to get my teeth cleaned.. hadn't been to a dentist in 6yrs. denise was amazingly thorough, careful to make sure i was comfortable throughout and explained everything as she went. afterward, was also generous with her time to explain how to take care of my teeth.
also, she's super sweet and kind!

Dr. Rahbar spent so much time explaining my x-rays to me and educating me on bone loss, gum recession, the way cavities form, when and how to treat. She taught me so much and is so friendly! We came up with a very workable plan.
