Dr. Gena Schultheis completed her undergraduate studies at Syracuse University in 2000 and earned her dental degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2005. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Eco-Dentistry Association, and Academy of Laser Dentistry. Outside of Dentistry she held the rank of Captain in the USAF and received the Air Force Commendation Medal. Dr. Gena Schultheis is practicing orthodontics as a general dentist with a practice in Dunkirk, MD, and as well as her second location in Annapolis.

The dentist, Gena Schultheis is very pleasant, especially for someone terrified of going to the dentist. Unfortunately, the receptionist/front staff is very unprofessional. They made many rude comments to me through the course of my three hours spent there. They continued to start arguments with my mother in the waiting room (she was only there to drive me since I could not). It was so uncomfortable she ended up leaving. I don't feel like the situation was handled appropriately. The front staff was forced to apologize, but it still wasn't enough. It wasn't the first time they have been unpleasant, not sure what the deal with today was. Personally, I'd seek another dentist first before choosing this office. I have been a patient for about a year and only plan on returning for a follow up. Then I'll be finding another dentist.
Also, wait times are significantly higher than any other dentist I've ever been to.

The visit was very fast and painless. I've had several appointments so far and each and every appointment I leave happy and feel valued. I would definitely recommend the services of this facility. Mrs. G is amazing always with a smile and ready to support when she can. Of course we cannot forget Mr. David, the front desk coordinator who always makes arranging our appointments painless and fun. Both Mrs. G & David are great assets to the company

The front office staff was very professional and handled all paperwork very quickly. The dental hygienist was very personable and worked quickly but methodically going through the initial x-ray process. Very friendly while doing that.
The dentist, Dr Tiller was great with explanations to every step of the process and thoroughly cleaned my teeth. It was a very enjoyable experience and I will be going back.

Internet said they took my insurance but they did not when I arrived. Air condition was not on and it was very hot in the waiting room. Dr was very sweet and helpful to me in the end.

This was my first visit, but overall I can say that the office staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable. The waiting room is super sharp looking and very comfortable. I was impressed with the tech and the green approach. I am reserving my opinion until I have been in the chair a couple more times.

Great dentist experience! The lobby/waiting area is beautifully and serenely designed, reminiscent of a spa and in keeping with the practices green dentistry paradigm. All interactions, at reception, with the hygienist/ assistant, and with Dr Schultheis we're pleasant and personable.
The care itself was first rate, excellent proficient dentistry, detailed but clear discussion and guidance, and of course a pain-free visit! Highly recommend

She helped remind me that only a few bad apples does not ruin the whole bunch. I really liked how she was informative with everything and willing to work with me on all that is needed to be done. She informed me fully of options out there to help resolve issues I am having.
