I have been a Dentist in private practice in the Astoria community for over 25 years, but my passion for dentistry began at age fourteen when I was inspired by my father, who excelled in his work as a Dental Technician. I would often visit him at his dental lab where he shared his love of this field and taught me the basics of dentistry. As I grew up, I knew this was the path I would take.
I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University College of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation I was asked by my peers to teach at the NYU College of Dentistry as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Later, I would serve as Faculty Coordinator, as well as Quality Control Supervisor for all lab work. I was diligent in my efforts and received numerous Awards and Citations. (See Awards and Achievements below.)
As my own practice grew, I took a leave of absence from teaching to fully focus on my patients. But my experience as a dental professor taught me not only to give the best service to my patients, but also to educate my patients about the preventive measures they must take to keep their teeth and mouth healthy.
Offering my patients cutting-edge technology is also a hallmark of my practice. I now specialize in laser dentistry and offer many laser procedures where no anesthesia is required, for a more comfortable patient experience!
We love hearing and answering any concerns our patients may have. Our entire staff is dedicated to working as a team and to provide a friendly environment throughout the office. We are a “family practice” and we work as a family toward the goal of providing the best service to each patient. And we love to welcome new patients into our family.
