The dishonest auto mechanic of dentists. I go in for an oral consultation. They tell me there is a minor abscess on my tooth. The Dental assistant Erica speaks with Dr. Pinney and they inform me I need surgery and it can't wait. They tell me that it is not serious and only requires an extraction. Once performing the extraction the Dr breaks the tooth as he is trying to pull it out. The dentist walks away to tend to another patient and the Dental assistant informs me that it is not a normal extraction and has to be taken out in pieces. After this excruciating procedure the Dr walks away yet again and the dental assistant looks around in my mouth some more then informs me that infection needs to be removed. After this long and drawn out process I felt the 4 shots of novocaine starting to wear off a little bit and the dental assistant informs me to just buy some tylenol at the drug store and gargle some salt water. After arguing with her I was finally able to see the Dr before I left and he gave me a prescription for 12 baby vicodin which didn't even do anything. My mouth was in so much pain I could not eat. I tried calling the after hours emergency number and when I finally got ahold of somebody they told me they would call me right back. I never received that call. I can never recommend Dr. Pinney's office for their lack of understanding and their abundance of ignorance. I went in the next day to state my concern and they were completely dumfounded.
