Fantastic experience! Felt no pain and the entire procedure of fitting and inserting a new crown took only about an hour and a half. Dr. Gertsen performed miracles repairing my wife's implants last year, so I was not surprised how well he and his assistant Jody worked on me. But his new hi-tech equipment stole the show; simply fabulous to see how modern computerized dentistry works, creating a new perfect fitting and color matching porcelain crown within 6 minutes! - in itself that's worth the price of admission

I had an emergency because my front tooth broke off. Dr Gertsen spent 21/2 hours to do a root canal,insert a post, rebuild the tooth and made me as good as new. He's a very dedicated, caring dentist. Would highly recommend!

For those of you who might wonder about my accent, I was born in Kaunas, Lithuania to a family with a long tradition in medicine.
I have been dedicated to practicing dentistry since 1972, after graduating from medical school.
I have been interested in oral surgery since beginning my dental career. I completed my specialty training in 1979 at the Moscow Institute of Stomatolgy - the leading post-graduate facility in Eastern Europe.
My experience in dentistry is diverse. While practicing traditional dentistry at one of Moscow's most elite dental clinics, I also spent countless hours in the head and neck department at the Oncological Center and the department of Trauma of Maxillofacial region at the Central Hospital.
In 1990, I relocated to the United States and settled in South Florida, where I continued to dedicate my time to the local community.
I underwent advanced dental training at the University of Florida. I am a firm believer in continuing education, and spend 100 hours every year in seminars and continuing education courses.
I am eager to continue my work in the dental field and to continue being helpful to the people and the community who have given my family and I the opportunity to live in peace and freedom.

Dr. Gertsen has taken care of our family for decades. He made sure all my children grew up with healthy teeth and has cared for me and my husband. He is the type of old fashioned dentist that will call to check on you, he will go out of his way to make sure no matter what the insurance pays for you get only the best dentil and cosmetic care. It is so rare to find a doctor like him any more much less a dentist. His son has now joined his practice and I see the same caring heart and talent that has kept us coming back to Dr. Gertsen for decades and with a beautiful smile thanks to him. They also have a great staff that is excellent with insurance and billing and very polite and professional going to great lengths to accommodate appointments and ensure proper billing. I luv Dr. Gertsen ...after having him care for us for so many years I am spoiled and couldn't imagine going to any other dentist

I was greeted with a handshake by the lovely receptionist, a first. The assistant was very personable, endearing and sympathetic, another first. Also unexpectedly, Doctor Gertsen had me in stitches and was not only approachable but it also was very obvious that he is knowledgeable, loves what he does and enjoys interacting with patients. I was greeted cheerfully by Liz, and as soon as my paperwork was done, Rebecca was addressing my specific concerns. In addition to a couple X-rays, she also took actual pics of the teeth in question, from inside my mouth, from various angles, with this ingenious little flash camera at the end of a dental tool.. I've never had that done before, and it certainly gives added perspective! Dr. Gertsen was even nicer and more expert than I expected! With a relatively simple procedure, he completely eradicated pain I have been suffering with for a very long time! I also appreciated that he complimented work done by my previous dentist. I'm glad to now be able to get that good quality dental care plus have a wonderful and considerate staff and pleasant atmosphere!
