I thought Dr. Kitchens was great! She was very polite and very professional. I dont like people touching my mouth but she made me feel comfortable with everything. I will be returning to Dr kitchens for the rest of my needs. Zocdoc however wasn't that great. They made me a half hour late with my appt!

She is dedicated to exceeding the American Dental Association requirements in continuing education, and has completed hundreds of hours of post-dental school education in all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is actively involved in several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Society of Forensic Odontology, and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Kitchens is a graduate of Tufts University’s School of Dental Medicine and also completed a general practice residency program at Harvard’s School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kitchens is seriously fantastic! She's awesome at laying out a treatment program, going through benefits, making sure you are comfortable, and most importantly doing great dental work! She was so generous with her time, her explanations, and her thorough examination and cleaning. She was not pushy with her recommendations. Her assistant, Grace, was so nice and personable, too. This was our first apt. (having moved recently to the neighborhood) and we feel like we have lucked out.

Dr. Kitchens is absolutely wonderful! I had been a little neglectful of my dental care for several years, so I was extremely nervous to see a dentist. She was friendly, put me at ease, and provided me with honest, in-depth information on what she was doing and the options I had for my dental care. Her office was spotless and she focuses on using the most up-to-date dental technology, which means less discomfort and less time. I could kick myself for not having gone to her sooner!

I think Dr. Kitchens is great and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist. She has a gentle demeanor, very caring, very considerate of your comfort level the entire time you're in the exam chair. She's very informative and will make sure you understand all procedures, but most of all, why you need them, keeping in mind insurance benefit maximums at all times.
