After earning his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2000, Dr. Shamoeil chose to further his education and was accepted into the Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California. Through strong work ethic and enthusiasm for healthcare, Dr. Shamoeil received standing on the dean’s list at both universities.
Dr. Shamoeil’s approach to preventative and cosmetic dental care is supported by his extensive knowledge and experience in dental hygiene and nutrition. He is a firm believer that optimal oral health is the key to physical and emotional health. I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 5 years & I knew it was about time. So I asked a few friends for a referral & I found Dr. Shamoeil at So Cal Dental Care. I am not a fan of dentist in general, but this was the best experience I ever had. I walked in & was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They gave me my paperwork & I was able to see the doctor within a few minutes.
The doctor was kind, gentle, & explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. He knew I hadn't been at the dentist for a while, so he helped me get on a better track and filled 2 cavities which went great!! I will be recommending my whole family here.

Was very pleased with the appearance of the office. Uppon arrival you will be greated with a great welcome! The entire staff is very professinal, efficient, and caring. Dr. Shamoeil is the best explained everything in great detail and is very gentle. I will definitely recommend SoCal Dental care to everyone.

I had four impacted wisdom teeth and was suffering for months with an off and on pain. I have been going to Dr. Shamoeil for a little while now and I knew I wanted to stick with him for removing my wisdom teeth. On the day of the surgery, I was scared to death, but to be honest, the swelling was so minimal (like way less than all my of my friends), and the pain was bearable. I ended up not even needing the real pain killer! I was so happy it was over and I was in less pain than I was when I started. I've had all of my post surgery check ups with Dr. S and things are great. My pain is gone and I am so happy that I went through with removing my wisdom teeth. I would recommend Dr. S and his great staff to all.

I liked the office mainly because they did not try to tell me I needed thousands in unnecessary dental work. They gave me great feedback on what kind of oral health habits I need to have. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist.
