My visit at First Family was an awesome expiriance! Dr. Hsia is a very professional dentist. Dr. Hsia took the time to explain my treatment and advised me what treatment was more urgent. Front desk and their assistants make a great team!

Dr. Scott Hsia graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi due to his academic achievement. Dr. Hsia completed his general practice residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and received advanced training in areas of oral surgery and endodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and received America’s Top Dentists award in 2017.
Dr. Hsia is very passionate about helping patients. When it comes to working with patients, Dr. Hsia is very patient, kind and gentle. He understands patients’ fear of dentistry as he had experienced those fears earlier in his life. Dr. Hsia believes in providing the highest quality of dental care while providing his patients with a comfortable experience. Annually, Dr. Hsia attends Mission of Mercy to provide free dental treatments.
Dr. Hsia grew up in Taiwan and Vancouver, Canada. He speaks Mandarin and English fluently. Dr. Hsia loves Chicago and spends his spare time traveling with family and friends.

Arrived at dental office before 4pm with 4:30pm.appt but no one gave any forms to fill-up not until after 4:30pm. .Staff was just sitting in the front desk. Flat affect!!After seen by MD, instructed by staff to wait outside to give the proposal form and xray result but did not endorse to front desk..we were waiting like dumb for nothing because the staff who assisted MD was in the other pt..until we were about to leave and told them just to email the result to us...and thats the time staff said ok we will give u now!!! Unprofessional.Zero star for the STAFF.

My visit at First Family Dental was great. Dr. Hsia explained in detail my son's treatment. I'm very happy that he does nitrous!!! I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I came in to the office with a lot of pain and Dr. Hsia releaved my pain. Dr. Hsia fixed my tooth. I am so happy that I found this office. Not only is Dr. Hsia amazing but the staff is great!
