Put off getting my wisdom teeth removed forever because I was nervous, Dr. Martin made it so fast and easy. I had them out within 2 weeks of first seeing her. She was available 24/7 after the surgery and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Martin was wonderful. She took me right away and had me out within 15 minutes for a wisdom teeth removal consultation. She is so nice, welcoming and makes you feel super comfortable with the procedure. Could not recommend her enough.

Dr. Hunter J. Martin, DDS, MD was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2006, followed by one year of Immunology research at Shands Cancer Hospital.
Dr. Martin earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry. She then completed her Medical Degree at NYU School of Medicine and continued at NYU Langone Health & Bellevue Hospital Center where she completed her General Surgery internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training.
Dr. Martin practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including wisdom tooth removal, dental implant placement, bone grafting, orthodontic exposures, pre-prosthetic, sleep apnea and TMJ surgeries. She has a special area of interest in jaw reconstruction including orthognathic surgery and complex maxillofacial trauma and is well versed in the use of computer guided surgical planning. She trained extensively in adult and pediatric anesthesia, including children with special needs and developmental disorders.
Dr. Martin currently resides in Manhattan. She volunteers annually on the medical staff for the New York Special Olympics. Personal interests include hiking, tennis, traveling and watching college football and hockey. She is an avid runner and completed the NYC Marathon in 2010.
