Dr. Hyrum (Greg) Hatch was born in Pomona, California where his father practiced dentistry. He lived there until the age of 8 when his family moved to Tempe, Arizona. Dr. Hatch studied at Brigham Young University and then moved back to California were he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is a skilled clinician and lecturer with over 27 years experience.
Dr. Hatch is a part-time faculty member in the Department of Anesthesia and Medicine at the U.S.C. School of Dentistry and has taught there for more than 27 years. Dr. Hatch is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona State Dental Association, the Central Arizona Dental Society, and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Hatch serves on the Board of the Flying Samaritans, and is the project coordinator for the Academy of LDS Dentists San Marcos Dental School project in Lima, Peru. Dr. Hatch spends 20 days or more each year teaching and practicing dentistry in 3rd world countries. He enjoys spending time traveling with his wife, four children, and two grandchildren. He especially enjoys the outdoors, and has participated in multiple marathons, triathlons, and extreme hiking, including rim to rim at the Grand Canyon and summiting Kilimanjaro.

The staff was sweet and welcoming, the dentist was thorough and helpful.
Huge plus, they gave me a breakdown of what I needed done, including the costs regarding my insurance benefits and went the extra mile to find out about my coverage and explain it to me.

Dr. Hatch is an exceptional dentist with impeccable integrity. This visit involved a crown that had cracked from work Dr. Hatch had performed almost 3 years ago. He replaced the crown at no charge believing that the previous crown may have had a defect. If you want a very capable dentist who knows how to numb you up along with integrity than the Hatch Family Dentistry is the place for you.

For my tooth pain exam today, Dr. Hatch listened to me (symptoms, etc.), reviewed the data (x-rays, physical examination, etc.), then recommended a conservative treatment to start based on what he saw. He is great with his patients, and he doesn't jump to "let's do loads of dental work". Have been a patient for years, would recommend him to anyone. And I am a skiddish dental patient.

Have known Dr. Hatch for almost 30 years, and have the highest possible opinion of him and of his office. He is a superb dentist, who has maintained my teeth--and my kids' teeth--in great shape, year after year. He keeps up on all the latest developments in dental care, but more than that, Dr. Hatch is an engaging person who cares about his patients' personal lives in addition to their teeth. All of the staff is personable and efficient, and I am delighted to see that his son-in-law and daughter have joined Dr. Hatch in the practice. I have decades of nothing but good experiences with Dr. Hatch's dental care.
