Dr. Al is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also a member, among others, of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Friends of the Dental and Craniofacial Research, and the European Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Al has been serving the Northern Virginia community since 1998 by raising dental health awareness in local schools. He is also a member of the Smile Train Charity Group, a charity near and dear to his heart that provides free cleft surgeries for children around the world.
In his spare time, Dr. Al enjoys playing soccer and chess as well as spending time with his wife and four children.

Very welcoming. Knowledgeable. Office is very clean, nice and modern. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Accomodating. Dr. Alhussain made me feel confident about treatment which is important especially as an adult getting braces for the 2nd time. I feel that the end result of my treatment will be exactly what I wanted.
