About Dr. Sanae Berrada
Dr. Berrada graduated from the University of Hassan II Casablanca dental school in 1997 and spent two years working in private practice before joining a post-graduate program in orthodontics at New York University, where she was awarded a Certificate in Orthodontics and remained as a teaching fellow the following year. She then completed a two-year general practice residency at Berkshire Medical Center, a Tufts University affiliate hospital in Massachusetts.
In 2007, Dr. Berrada joined a large group practice in Virginia Beach and became one of the lead dentists.
Dr. Berrada brings over 20 years of clinical experience, a bright and vibrant personality, and a wide variety of up-to-date skills and technology. She has had extensive training in orthodontics, implants, cosmetic, and general dentistry. She studied implant dentistry at Columbia University, earning a Certificate in Implantology. She is committed to providing the best possible dental care in our community. Continuing education is a passion; she has taken several courses from Dr. Frank Spear of the Seattle Institute for Dental Education. She has been a preferred Invisalign provider and offers clear aligners as well as conventional braces to improve her patients' smiles and oral health.

Dr. Berrada and team are a gift from God if I do say so myself :). I'm so extremely grateful that I booked an appointment with her. Unfortunately, I've had an infection for who knows how long that affected the bone around my jaw. Embarrassingly, I cried when Dr. Berrada told me I had an infection because I was frustrated that my previous dentist and orthodontists didn't catch it and above all, worried about what the infection could have done to my health. Dr. Berrada and Anna comforted me and told me there was a solution for these things and that it'd be okay. The professional, personable, calm and confident demeanor given off by Dr. Berrada gave me comfort because it showed that she clearly knows what she's doing! Anna also provided exceptional care, instructions on recovery, detail on my treatments, comfort and kindness. Susan from the front desk has also been very kind and helpful in answering my questions. Exceptional team and service overall! Highly recommend.

She is diligent about double-checking everything (x-rays from 2 weeks ago versus another thorough examination in person) before deciding the range of options for my treatment. She explains every option carefully, patiently, and in depth -- all the pluses and minuses are clear -- and then how and why she narrows down the choices to the optimal ones. Where one course of treatment is just about as good as another, she makes sure to learn my preferences -- and provides a good deal of counsel and data to inform me well on what one route versus another means for my health, comfort, and daily maintenance.

Dr. Berrada was very thorough in explaining the status of my oral hygiene. She was able to recommend the right treatment for me and made my first visit to the dentist in years a lot less painful than I thought it was going to be.

We have five children ages 11-20 and our entire family goes to Dr. Berrada for a variety of treatments as well as our routine dental visits. We all love her. She shows genuine interest in us and doesn't seem hurried but we've only had to wait one time when there was a patient with an emergency and even then it was only 20 minutes. Her office staff are courteous and knowledgeable. We have called for everything from toothaches to broken retainers and they never seem flustered, they just work us in. I think such calm efficiency is the perfect atmosphere for a dental office and I think it runs that way because Dr. Berrada is so capable. I recommend her to anyone that lives nearby.

My last visit was a routine service. The staff in the office always is very friendly and polite. I am one who is not a big fan of any Dental procedure, but the family atmosphere and personable service that I receive makes me feel very comfortable.
