Dr. Ishbel Nieves was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and has resided in Lake County, Fl for the last 5 years. She received her Bachelors degree in Biology with emphasis in the Human Anatomy from the University of Puerto Rico in 2003. In 2007 Dr. Nieves graduated from the University of Puerto Rico: School of Dental Medicine obtaining a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
After her graduate studies, Dr. Nieves moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue a General Practice Residency certificate from the Malcom Randall, VA Medical Center. It was during this program that Dr. Nieves had the opportunity to work with medically compromised dental patients as well as widen her knowledge in several areas of general dentistry and diagnosis and treatment of oral-facial pain.
Dr. Ishbel Nieves lives in Clermont, Fl with her husband Erik, she enjoys kayaking, running and reading. Dr. Nieves believes that the active participation in continuing education courses will allow her to provide the latest in dental treatment to her patients.
Dr. Nieves believes that the patient should be treated with respect and kindness, meanwhile providing quality dental care.
