What I love most about orthodontics is its ability to allow people to gain confidence as their new smile develops. It is an incredible and humbling experience to be the provider that helps this transformation occur.
One of the main reasons I became interested in orthodontics is the nature of our patients. We see children, teens, and adults, all of whom want the same thing: a healthy and beautiful smile. And because orthodontic treatment usually happens over several years, and involves regular visits, I get to know each patient and their family on a personal level. Dr. Stringert, the team, and I, are like a family, and our team becomes like a family to those we serve. And, in return, our patients feel like family members to us. I love sharing in my patient’s successes, whether that’s in school pursuits, extracurricular activities, travels and adventures, or a promotion at work.
It’s amazingly rewarding to come to work each morning knowing I’m going to be making positive, lasting, wonderful changes in the lives of people I genuinely care about.
I graduated with an exceptional orthodontic education from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. While in Kentucky, I treated several patients with lingual braces ("braces on the inside") and look forward to offering that treatment to patients here in Pueblo. I also recently sat for and passed the American Board of Orthodontics exam and am now a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
As a lifelong learner, I am committed to furthering my understanding of orthodontics and oral healthcare, so I stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, treatment processes, and new materials -- all of which ensure stronger results for my patient all of which ensure stronger results for my patients.
