The art of dentistry allows the practitioner to practice dentistry on a daily basis, never ceasing to find new and innovative methods available to patients. I always strive to make the dental services we provide for our patients the very best available.
For my formal education, I attended the University of California, San Francisco, which is a top-ranked dental school. I graduated top in my class.
As a dentist, I know that taking continuing education is an integral part of broadening the scope of my clinical knowledge. The comprehensive courses I have taken include cosmetic procedures, endodontic root canal procedures, periodontal management, gum treatments, and ClearCorrect invisible orthodontic braces.
I love being able to sit down and chat with my patients learning about their families, their life experiences and sharing with them my own. I know that each patient has something interesting about them that I can learn. Practicing dentistry and completing treatment is a given but the interaction with each patient is priceless.
The best part of my profession is the gratitude I get when helping someone in need. Being able to find what was wrong, fixing it and allowing them to go on with their life without any disruption is rewarding.
I grew up in Los Angeles, and love living in Burbank. My wife, Michelle, was my high school sweetheart. We met in Van Nuys High School and have gone through undergrad and dental school together. We have two daughters, Eliana (3 1/2) and Isabel (4 months). Both girls are my pride and joy. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing games on my iPhone, and going on vacations.
I strive to be a part of the community, and volunteer to help underserved individuals obtain dental care. I also participated in Give Kids a Smile, where children receive dental screening. I also participated regularly in a community dental clinic where I served homeless patients. I spent months at a community dental clinic in Eureka and worked with top surgeons at the San Francisco General Hospital Oral Surgery department where I provided care to the underserved.
