This was my first time at Desert Family and seeing Dr. Heaton. I was referred to this office and would definitely refer others. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the office staff, the high technology equipment, cleanliness, and general concern for my well being.

Dr. Heaton was raised in Roosevelt, Utah. After completing a two-year service mission in the West Indies, Dr. Heaton received a bachelor’s degree in advanced radiologic sciences from Weber State University. He then continued his education at Ohio State University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While completing his studies at OSU, Dr. Heaton received multiple awards, including one for his research in dental esthetics, which he also had the opportunity to present to colleagues in Barcelona, Spain.
In his spare time, Dr. Heaton enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly, two daughters, Alexis and Berkley, and son Trey. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching college football and basketball.
