Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. I generally have trouble having x-rays done, but they were very understanding and did their best to make sure I was comfortable, and throughout everything they checked to see if I was ok. This was easily the best dentist appointment I've ever had, and I have no problems recommending this office to anyone.

While I thought that I was maintaining a conscientious regular routine of oral hygiene, I recently suffered the loss of two upper teeth which prompted me to find a dentist supported by my Humana Health Care supplemental insurance plan. Her office is less than ten blocks from my home and was very convenient as I travel mostly on foot. Her office staff was courteous and efficient and I was seen probably a half hour in advance of my scheduled appointment. Dr. Santa Maria-Real's dental technician was equally polite, professional, and efficient in her preparatory work. The doctor herself also arrived ahead of schedule and promptly began cleaning and examining my teeth physically and with assistance from her technician's x-ray images. Because this was my first visit to a dentist in some years, she unfortunately found a number of other prevailing and potentially future problem conditions about which she courteously and professionally advised me. Together, we greed that numerous future corrective visits would be necessary and her front desk staff managed to schedule coming visits in a timely fashion; with charges that, including the dental insurance benefits I have, will be affordable.
I can heartily recommend Dr. Santa Maria-Real, DMD, her office, and its staff to anyone in need of dental care and attention. I will return for any and all future appointments with only positive thoughts and a personal knowledge that my dental needs will be well served.

Sadly they got my appointment a bit late (a ZocDoc glitch in the system), but nevertheless took me in. Everything was great. They made sure I was well taken care of the entire time. All my questions were answered and we made plans for all the future treatments. Despite my great fear for dentists I'm looking forward to my next visit.
