Dr. Jennifer Dalton enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly interacting with her patients. She strives to provide her patients with the self-confidence that comes with a great smile in a relaxed and caring atmosphere. Dr. Dalton has been practicing dentistry at Peace Dental for five years. She chose to enter the dental field after shadowing her local dentist and seeing the impact a new smile can have on patients’ confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Dalton knew at a young age she wanted a career in the medical field and is genuinely happy it is being a dentist.
Dr. Dalton spent four years studying biology and chemistry as an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh and then continued her education receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine through the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dalton then completed her post-doctorate year of advanced training at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Dalton has lived in the Pittsburgh area for the past 12 years. She and her husband, Patrick, have a daughter, Lauren, a son Ryan and a dog, Casey. When not at work, Dr. Dalton can be found spending time with her family, running, swimming, or shopping!
Dr. Dalton volunteers at her hometown Rotary Club, has gone on several dental mission trips to underdeveloped countries, and participates in mentoring activities with dental students. She believes it is important to be involved in the community and set a good example for her children.

It was the first time I went there and I was able to fill the paperwork online (ahead of time). All staff present greeted me even at 7:30am, it very clean place, and the staff was very interactive with the patients.

The office has a vary warm and comfortable feel to it. All of the staff I met today was very friendly and welcoming. They are also knowledgeable and took good care of my teeth. I am looking forward to returning for my next visit to be seen, not necessarily the procedure that has to be done, but the staff make me feel comfortable and I have confidence that my upcoming procedure will go smoothly.

I had a great experience this morning at Peace Dental. I hadn't been to a dentist in about 8 years (yikes, I know) and they were great! I was seen right away and the whole office was incredibly nice and friendly. I got an exam and cleaning from Dr. Dalton and also a set of x-rays and it only took about 45 minutes from start to finish. I don't have dental insurance but they have a discount plan that I signed up for that should save me some money in the long run!

Dr. Dalton made me feel at ease and quickly got rid of my cavity. This time I didn't feel like I was losing a buddy of mine ( when I first got fillings when I was younger I felt shocked and like I had lost a body part) and I was just so relieved that I didn't need a crown. I would recommend this place if you are looking for someone who isn't going to rip you off. ( I have all my wisdom teeth and she didn't say that I needed them out while most dentists had).

Very caring and makes you feel super comfortable when your in pain. She had me actually laughing while getting a cavity filled. Yes the novicane shot hurts! But, she made funny conversations with the dental assistant to help keep your mind off of what is going on! I have been going to Dr. Peace for 20 years! He is the best and they work with you on payments if you don't have insurance. Now they have Jen working for the past couple years I have gone to her. Very professional & all of the staff is super friendly and care about you!

I recently moved to the South Hills. I will continue to go to Dr. Peace for as long as he is in business. I now go to Jen. She is very nice, friendly & always makes me feel super comfortable. I actually enjoy going to the dentist! Said no one ever! LOL ya well I do! I highly recommend going to get work done from Jen or Dr. Peace. I almost feel like they treat me like family & really care about you personally! They help you even if you don't have insurance & with payment plans.
