Visit was expeditious, efficient and pain free. No complaints.
They keep upgrading the office: New children's play area, beverages (tea, water, coffee too I think). But the best is the ceiling panel over the treatment chair.... so relaxing to look at if you open your eyes while being examined or treated.

My visit included a thorough check up by a good dentist, with a very supportive and efficient team! We are grateful to have such a good dentist in our La Mesa area. It is also good to be reminded by the dentist that our personal dental hygiene is primarily the responsibility of the patient.

Dr. Hernandez is dedicated to continuing his education in order to consistently provide the care that the families in our community deserve. He attends both local and state dental meetings and conventions to bring up-to-date dentistry to those in La Mesa and the surrounding communities.
Recently, he completed the Fellowship Program at the California Implant Institute in order to provide our patients with advanced dental implant care and treatments. Dr. Hernandez is also a U.S. Navy Reserve dentist, currently stationed at MCAS Miramar providing oral health services to the men and women of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.

Getting implants. The doctor and his assistant described in detail what the procedure entailed and put my mind at ease. I was extended the utmost courtesy by the doctor and his staff which made for a pleasant visit.

I wasn't a fan of constantly being "sold to" during my ENTIRE appointment. He was literally IN MY MOUTH trying to sell me on this treatment and that treatment.. Before the procedure, during and after.. It was NOT pleasant. I have NO intention of ever going back. Not only that... it's been over 6 months since I saw him and I've gotten several $200+ bills!!!! I got a checkup and a cavity filled...and I had insurance! Very unhappy! :(

My appointment with Dr. Hernandez was AWESOME! Everyone in the office was so kind, helpful and friendly! Also, Dr. Hernandez was so thorough, and he really took the time to make sure that all of my questions were answered, and all of my dental concerns were taken care of! It was very evident that Dr. Hernandez, as well as the rest of the staff, really care about each and every patient! :)
