Dr. Jiwon Jeff Jung received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego and his dental degree at the State University of New York, Buffalo. He pursued further education by completing an additional general practice residency program where he treated patients in all phases of dentistry, including patients with medical complexities as well as those in underserved areas. During his dental school years, he spent two years in research, which eventually led him to receive a research award for his yeast studies in oral medicine. Dr. Jung's passion lies in continuous education in order to remain knowledgeable and proficient in the latest research and dental techniques. He loves kids and dentistry. He also has a great desire to help patients with special needs.
He is innovative and inquisitive, yet very conservative when it comes to treating patients. His goal is to provide the most appropriate care with evidence-based dentistry. He is always available to follow up with the dental care he provides so that no patient will be left alone after receiving treatments. Dr. Jung enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids. He also enjoys outdoor sports and loves to play the guitar and piano.

I had a fantastic first experience with Dr. Jung's office; from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I was extremely comfortable and professionally taken care of. I was nervous going in (I'm always nervous going to the dentist) but that fear totally disappeared because of everyone's compassionate care. The doctor came up with a plan of treatment that I am excited about, as I have been having some dental problems I was very worried about before hand. Would highly recommend this office!

I made an appointment for a teeth cleaning and when I arrived, they said only if there is time after the examination, ok, then they said I couldn't get my teeth cleaned without x rays, witch I had recently so objected to the idea of getting a bunch more unesasarry radiation, I even offered to have my other dentist email to dr Jung, they refused. So, I expected to at least get the dental examination, just as a side note it took me an hour to drive to the office and another hour to drive home. Dr Jung then decided he didn't even want to to the exam because he was adamant that I get the x rays. I wasted three hours of my morning, when it could have been an easy fix - it's called communication, all they have to do is say we require x rays for all procedures including cleanings, so I would have seen another dentist. And for anyone out there curious, x rays are a big money maker for dentists and that's why they always want to do them even if you just had then done - I'm sure they will tell you otherwise.

Friendly caring professional staff. Dr jung was very professional and informative and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. even went that extra mile to work with my insurance to save me some money! I highly recommend this dentist. This was the best experience ever.

Despite hundreds of dollars of out of pocket expense, my original complaint was not addressed. The office failed to do a pre-authorization for insurance so I ended up paying the entire amount despite having coverage. And they were rude about it when I discussed it with them.

Office is beautiful, staff is very friendly and professional. Loved the fact that it didn't smell like a typical dentist office, nice relaxing music is playing which makes it tranquil. I will be recommending this office for sure! Dr Jung was very nice and caring.

Not very forthcoming with advise when asked and wouldn't fill a cavity even though stated one needed to be filled a week before. Seems to want the money for a second appt.

What is great about these people and this all of them from the front desk to the back they treat you like family and have great manners. The offices and front offices area so very clean and airy, that I want to do the decorations in my home that way. Love them all and many blessings,

He speaks to people as though everyone is beneath him, and they are ignorant, you could hear him speaking to patients in that matter all the way down the hall. There are simply too many dentists to choose from for me to willingly give my $ to someone that could careless about his patients.
