Dr. Joel Gould graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a doctorate in dental surgery in 1991. He has been practicing dentistry for 26 years.
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Gould has worked with the government of Ontario to provide on-site dental treatment for elementary school children in under serviced areas. While working in Ontario, he established a dental clinic in the town of Emo.
Before moving to Southern California, Dr. Gould operated a private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia for ten years.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Canadian Dental Association.

Good luck, if you could actually see the doctor. They usually send a nurse to clean your teeth.
They also decided that I was a gum disease patient therefore I needed deeper cleaning method than normal clean, which is twice as expensive. But they didn't tell me. On top of that, the nurse said there was too much work to do, so she will have to have me back for another session. So I came back a week later. The session turned out to be only 10 minutes. 10 minutes! Do they really have to have me back for such a short session? - More ridiculously, they charged me another full price for the 10 minute cleaning.
What's worse is because of the 10 minute session, insurance deemed that I used up the quota of the year, so when the time was up for my second cleaning, the insurance won't cover a penny. I called their billing department and they mocked me, insulted me, and lied to me about their policy to cover up their bad practice.
Do not go to this doctor. They are here to rip you off. No one will help you.

They were wonderful! I had my two bottom wisdom teeth pulled and I got a phone call the next day checking up on me and asked me if I had any questions. They were very nice and assured me to call at any time if I had any questions. Definitely going back!

I had a horrible experience with this office. I went in because my jaw was hurting. I was told I needed 4 cleanings on 4 separate days. After I received my cleanings, I was told that I had 4 cavities. They filled my cavities, and afterward I had the worst tooth pain of my entire life. After about 4 different adjustments on different days, I ended up getting a root canal. All of this for a jaw issue, which went away in a few days.

There was a short wait but it was totally WORTH IT! Parking, great! Office, very comfortable & easy to find. Staff, friendly & accommodating. Services, well, you know... It's the dentist... But with that said, it was pretty painless & I feel good about committing to Dr. Gould!
