I was honestly shocked by how personable, knowledgeable, and communicative Dr. John was. The whole staff at this office is second to none. The hygienist, Patty, was very comforting and extremely friendly when I arrived and throughout the procedure. Dr. John clearly and carefully explained the "what and why" of what he was doing every step of the way, and this eased my worries about having a tooth extracted. He discussed the x-ray with me, explained in layman's terms what it showed, and informed me of all available options. I experienced no pain at all and the procedure was surprisingly quick and easy. He thoroughly went over post-extraction care, and stated that he was always available anytime if I should be concerned about anything. It was the most positive dentist experience I've ever had, I think. He and his staff are first rate!

John Taltavall is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist in Lincoln Park, NJ. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In addition, Dr. Taltavall has received additional training in placement of dental implants and TMJ. He is certified in the use of Lumineers and Invisalign.
Dr. Taltavall practices general dentistry and specialized in cosmetic dentistry. He routinely performs restorative dentistry procedures, dental sleep medicine, implant replacement and restoration, periodontal treatments, root canals, and laser whitening. His goal is to get to know each patient and take care of everyone in a friendly and efficient manner.
