Dr. John Walker has been practicing as a board certified orthodontist in the Boulder community for 26 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1978. Following completion of a general practice residency at University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, he practiced general dentistry for 6 years in Hueytown Alabama. Dr. Walker graduated from Fairleigh Dickerson University in 1987 with his certificate in orthodontics, and has been in Boulder since that time. Dr. Walker is not only efficient and professional but also provides a fun and comfortable setting for his patients. Dr. Walker, in his off time, loves to ski, mountain bike, dirt bike, and has a great interest in rebuilding John Deer tractors. He truly is a jack of all trades. He used to own a plane and fly on his free time and one day he would eventually like to fly the skys again. He loves the CU Buffs and you can catch him on game day tailgating in the parking lot or enjoying the game with family and friends.
Doc also has a great loving wife, 2 kids, and 3 labradors. Mrs. Walker loves to ride and has a deep passion for horses and spends many hours volunteering her time at the barn, as well as other places in the community. His son, the oldest, lives, works and plays in Steamboat, CO. You might see him out at the golf course in Steamboat where he works. He also has a daughter who has recently come back home from College with her degree in marketing, who greatly enjoys riding her horse Ziggy. Their labradors Elsa, Lily and Missy are famous around the office. They are notorious for stealing baked goods or expensive sunglasses. But loveable none the less!!
