Dr. Welch was born and raised in Wyoming before his family relocated to Las Vegas when he was 15. After graduating from Silverado High School he went on a two year mission to Brazil where he became fluent in Portuguese. After his mission he started his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where he studied until he married his wife Tiffany and then transferred to the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology there and then was accepted at UNLV’s School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded his DMD.
Dr. Welch wants to make sure that your smile is one that you can be proud of. He also wants your experience at the dentist to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Since dental school Dr. Welch has been committed to continuing his education and staying up to date on the most current materials, technology and treatment options by studying with some of the top dentists in the country.
When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Tiffany and their four wonderful children.

In fast. Take their time with you. No feeling of being rushed through for the next patient. I've been there when emergencies showed up. Super fast response.
Office very clean, new office, new technology and continues to upgrade facility often.
The Hygienist is experienced and thoughtful. Super fun personality. She asked questions about my needs and if it hurts before and during the cleaning/maintenance procedure to make sure I was okay. She will make suggestions on how to improve the health of teeth, gums and mouth. If you just want a cleaning and no sales pitch just say so, it's okay. I wanted to improve my teeth and gums so I appreciated it. Also, getting another hygienist because they are growing so fast.
Dr Welch, of course, is great. Very thorough. Very knowledgeable. He evaluates the health of your entire body, not just the inside of the mouth. Full cranial scans-very cool. It's amazing what the sinus, throat, and gums can show, indicating serious health concerns. He even noticed calcium build-up on the bones in my neck. Cool stuff! Then he did a thorough visual check of my mouth, gums and teeth. Nice.
Reception and billing. Excellent service. Friendly. Finally, found friendly. Not impatient or passes on stress to Customers. If anyone has had to deal with rude front office or silent hygienist and didn't like it, try this place. Any insurance issues I've had were quickly resolved. I haven't had a billing issue yet, but I think it will be resolved amicably. Anyone who has had to deal with frustrating billing issues because the office was disorganized should try this place. They are organized, straight-forward, honest and have their records in order so any issue should be easy to resolve.
I want to keep the office a secret, but I won't.

Dr. Welch is pretty much what a dentist should be. He seems to be very competent and comfortable with his work. He has an easy-going, approachable personality. He has very good communication skills and gives thoughtful answers to questions and concerns. I have used him for some minor general dentistry items and for some serious implant work and have been very satisfied.

I had an emergency visit. The office was extremely professional and considerate. I am grateful to have such a healthy dentistry environment in my community. This visit was pleasant and even relaxing. I had initially met Dr. Jon Welch when he was at a dental practice near my home. When it came time for dental implants I knew from my previous experience that Dr. Jon was the only one I wanted for this procedure. When I found he had left his previous practice I found him at his beautiful new office and made an appointment for a consultation. I met with him and he went over the entire procedure so I knew what to expect through the entire process. I have now almost completed my procedure and have nothing but praise for the entire staff at Welch Dentistry. I have been treated with such kindness, compassion and concern through the entire process. I totally recommend Dr. Jon and staff for all your dental needs.
