I chose to visit this practitioner because his office is convenient to my work, but I was not thrilled with my visit. I felt judged and like I was being talked down to by Dr. Yahav. I did appreciate his hygenist's demeanor, though.

Dr. Yadav needs to learn to give time to his patients. My experience was pretty bad. He probably spoke to me for 30s before advicing expensive procedures. You can tell that he is jumping between patients and is trying to squeeze in as many patients as he can even if that meant compomising the care he provides. If you want patients to retutn, please take time with each if them and don't rush them. I am not visiting again.

I was the most patient person when it came to Dr. Yahav, but enough is enough. It was more than three strikes that he got. First, my first ever appointment, he was late to show up the office - and I'm talking I was waiting nearly an hour - then, when he got there, he was rushing and it was not comfortable. He didn't explain things clearly and then was patronizing about "Its okay its okay I got you." Later, when treatments were booked, I showed up to the office to find it closed at my scheduled appointment time. Then, later, another time, I got a bill which I believed to be in error. Come to find out, not only did they BILL me wrong, (and I didn't owe anything), but THEY owed me money because they overcharged their own service. Lastly, Dr. Yahav requested that I come in and see him as a follow up to a procedure, and he even suggested the date and time. I went, and he didn't show up. I called multiple times, asking for a call back from him. To this day, all I've gotten is a lackluster apology from a secretary. To say that he doesn't care is an understatement. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AND THIS PRACTICE.

They were slow to greet me and not very organized in the front office at first. But when I got to the back, the doctor was fantastic/professional/thorough, the hygienist/X-ray tech was very friendly, and my actual time in the chair was enjoyable. Started off a little shaky, but I am glad I chose this doctor, and will be making him my regular dentist.

Pushy as a doctor, don't do Invisalign since not licensed for orthodotics, and office doesn't do insurance claims correctly so I never get the payments I was supposed to.

The trip to the doctor's office was a true pleasure. The dental hygienist Connie did a marvelous job prepping my teeth for full cleaning from Dr. Yahav. Dr. Yahav offers great advice and only uses the top technology/equipment.

Absolutely terrible in admin and management. I have waited 3+ months to get a simple transfer of documents and called at least 20 times to the office only to be falsely promised things will be taken cRe of "immediately" each time. Each time a promise was made to call me back, I receive zero calls and have to follow up. When I attempt to give some direct feedback over the phone regarding this, receptionist cuts me off and rushes to hang up the phone.
Dr Yahav is competent, but the admin at this office has spun out of control and will make your life a living hell.

Dr. Yahav and his staff were really great! My wait time was a little long, but I was in and out of the chair in 20 minutes (including x-rays). Great technology and very friendly!

I have no doubt in Dr. Yahav's medical capabilities, granted I saw him for minor procedures. However, my 3 stars come from the level of poor admin (calling patients on time, ordering the right things from third party vendors on time, billing accurate amounts as per agreements) and the lack of billing transparency here.
If you're looking for a quick fix that costs a few hundred bucks, Dr. Yahav may be the guy as he works fast. But if the procedure costs a few grand, I recommend staying away, as you'll feel rushed / pressured into decisions only to have continuous surprises down the road (e.g., billing higher than agreed upon, appointments made many weeks after what was promised, very little understanding of the process and what to expect after your procedures).

I went to Dr. Yahav for a consult on my fill ins. He tried to get me to get porcelain "onlays." When I said that I can only afford new fill ins he pressured me into getting the more pricey options. Meanwhile, I almost walked out because he was so pushy but stayed because he agreed to go ahead and do the ceramic fill ins. Fast forward 3 months, I'm in pain and seeing a new dentist who is fantastic and had no qualms about re-doing my fill ins. Didn't even understand why I was offered porcelain anyway. If you want to be stressed out at an appointment, go to Dr. Yahav. If you want a stress free experience, I suggest you go elsewhere.

To say that Dr. Yahav and his team are amazing is an understatement! Millie greets you with the warmest smile; you feel welcomed immediately. Connie, dental hygienist , is very energetic , warm, and friendly. She smiles from the time you come into the patient chair. She is extremely sweet! Dr. Yahav is very attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and caring. You can tell that he is genuinely vested in the comfort and overall well-being of his patients. He made me feel so comfortable and assured me from beginning to end that they would take care of me. I was terrified of getting fill-ins! Dr. Yahav did 4 fill-ins in under 15 minutes, and completely pain free! The office is state-of -the -art and he uses tools with the latest, advanced technology. I am very satisfied and I recommend Chicago Smile Center to anyone that is nervous about going to the dentist. At Chicago Smile Center, you are treated like a friend! I came in and gave the front desk my insurance information (waited 45min). Dr. Yahav seemed intelligent and helpful, recommended a longer lasting filling than the one that had previously fallen out. I was asked to cover the expenses out of pocket and deal with the insurance company on my own because "they didn't trust students to be on time," or something obscure along those lines. Then, the insurance company said their policy is to reimburse dentists, not patients. So we had to haggle Dr. Yahav's assistant/spose for the insurance reimbursement. Several months later and after many frustrating phone calls, I got a check for about one third of the original procedure amount. I'm not sure how much of this is the fault of their administration vs. the insurance plan, but they certainly weren't helpful in solving my issue! (not to mention their lack of trust in me from the beginning)

Well, it hurt a bit- but that was just uncomfortable! The cleaning was so quick and efficient and he wanted me to let him know how I felt every step of the way :P .

Dr. Yahav saw me on little to no notice, determined I had an impacted wisdom tooth ready to erupt and pulled it all in less than half an hour. He informed me that I needed to get my mouth deep cleaned and schedule a surgery to get the rest of my wisdom teeth out. Thanks!

Dr Jonathan is a capable dentist but I felt very rushed during my visit. He was attending different patients at the same time and running around from room to room. He came in my room and started cleaning my teeth right away. I had questions for him but I didnt even get a chance to talk. Overall I would not recommend him. There are many capable dentists who will be courteous and take time to explain the procedures.
