The staff at Dr. Matos office are very professional and friendly and put you at ease from the moment you arrive. Dr. Matos has a very warm personality and a gentle bedside manner and explained things in a clear and understandable manner. Would highly recommend himto friends and family.

Dr. Jose Matos is a great doctor. The dental assistants were a little hard to understand however. And also the machines and tools look a bit outdated.

Dr. Jose F Matos received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the VCU/MCV Dental School in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Jose F Matos loves working with people from every walk of life, and helping them attain and maintain a beautiful smile. His patients’ health, happiness and comfort is how he measures success. He takes time to listen to patients’ concerns, educate them, and work with them on establishing a treatment plan that achieves their goals.
In his free time, Dr. Matos enjoys: Baseball, Football, Hockey, antique cars, nature walks with his dogs Toby & Coco, also loves old westerns. Most of all, he loves spending time with his family wife, Mary, and his children, Alex, Rebeca.

Deny's anything is wrong when there is an issue, but reluctantly fixes it. Pushes services and products that are not important (teeth whitening) and continues to push even after declined. Seems a lot like a sales office and not a dentist.

The receptionist, Dr. Matos, and the hygienist (I think her name was Kelly) were absolutely amazing. I had a foreign assistant at first, and she was awfully rude to me. She treated me like I had never been to a dentist office before when I clearly have been to a dentist multiple times in my life. I showed up exactly 7 minutes early to my appointment, and I was still not seen until 30 minutes after my appointment time. I pre-filled out all my information online and still had to refill it all out in the office. They were requiring me to get things done that I never have had done before and were not covered by my insurance. I was not allowed to decline these services either. The hygienist the one that really saved the appointment. She was friendly and treated me like the adult I am.

I had to get a ton of work done, I truly do not like the dentist at all, and I feel like I am getting robbed of my hard earned cash, but Dr. Matos was fabulous, my kids now go there and we love it. My daughter was so scared about getting a shot to numb her mouth I almost had to hold her down, Dr. Matos was so good she didn't even know he was done. She said it didn't hurt! I love this place. They do push for you to use some special Flouride toothpaste and mouthwash, I was scepticle at first but it is working great.

Horrible! I was forced to do an oral cancer screen even though I declined due to cost. Not covered by insurance. They told me it was not optional and I had to pay for it. Dr. Matos was too touchy. I felt like it was a high pressure sales situation.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The doctor was pleasant caring and knowledgeable. However, I went in with a broken filling as a new patient and I wasn't able to get my filling done the same visit. I would've had to have a full set of X-rays and comprehensive exam first since the tooth wasn't hurting me they didn't make a big deal about my initial compliant. I had to make another appointment. Was upset that I was sent on my way with a broken filling and a new appointment. overall the office was great and I would go there again.

I felt comfortable from the time I opened the door to the time I closed it. Everyone is very professional, kind and considerate of your needs. I would suggest to all I know to use Dr. Matos as their Dentist.
