About Dr. Nelson Andujar Ortiz
Dr. Andujar is a highly skilled dental professional with advanced training in General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Implantology. With nearly two decades of experience, he provides exceptional preventative, restorative, and comprehensive dental care.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006 in the Dominican Republic, later specializing in Oral Rehabilitation (Prosthodontics) at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 2011. He further advanced his expertise with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certification from Columbia University and a Clinical Residency in Implantology at Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
Since moving to Tampa, FL, in 2021, Dr. Andujar has been dedicated to serving his community. A proud member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association, he is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and building meaningful relationships. He has also participated in numerous charity missions to provide dental care to underserved communities.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Andujar enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three young boys, playing baseball, fishing, traveling, and visiting the beach.

I went to this office as a new patient and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The office was clean and Dr Andújar was amazing. He took his time with me and answered every question I had by explaining everything in a way that I could understand as a patient. Overall it was a very good first impression. I was very happy about the fact that Dr Andújar speaks Spanish, and I believe this is a big plus. Will come back for cleaning and a filling, and I hope to have a similar experience.
