Dr. Joseph M. Gentile received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1981. Continuing his education, Dr. Gentile completed graduate residency programs in General Dentistry from Loma Linda University and Loma Linda Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Gentile is affiliate with the American Dental Association, the Hartford Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He was twice recognized as one of America’s “Top Dentist”. He regularly attends continuing education programs and has received certificates in Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Within the community, Dr. Gentile is actively involved with local and national charities. Dr. Gentile has served as the President of the Avon Chapter of Unico National. He is a member of the Avon Chamber Commerce. He currently services on the Avon Alternative Energy Committee. He has 3 children and resides in Aon, Connecticut with his wife, Irene. Dr. Gentile enjoys playing gold and is an avid fly fisherman.
