Dr. Lopez completed his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following this, he earned a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University with a concentration in Epidemiology-Biostatistics.
While working at the United States Department of Health and Human Services in Rockville, MD, he decided to pursue dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2003. He then completed a two-year advanced pediatric dentistry Certificate program at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Lopez is excited to return to the area and has joined us after five years in private practice in Pittsburgh, PA. During that period, he also served as clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. He has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry since 2003.
