“Dr. O was very friendly and kind and most importantly- gentle! I have sensitive teeth and am always super anxious about seeing the dentist but the whole experience was pain-free which was wonderful! The receptionist and the girl who did my x-rays were also super friendly and pleasant. ”

About Dr. Josephine Oguntimein
Dr. Josephine Oguntimein has been practicing dentistry for almost 30 years. A native of Nigeria, she graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Ibadan in 1981. She served as a dental instructor at the School of Dentistry at Obafemi Awolowo University for four years before attending Howard University’s College of Dentistry. At Howard University's College of Dentistry, Dr. Oguntimein earned a postgraduate certificate in pediatric dentistry. She became a licensed dentist in the District of Columbia in 1992.
Dr. Oguntimein has been married for over 25 years and is the proud mother of three adult children. In her spare time, Dr. Oguntimein serves in several charitable organizations and enjoys attending concerts and her bi-weekly Zumba classes.
