Dr. Park was referred to me by my dentist. She is extremely kind, conversational, and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my visit with her. She is so knowledgeable and told me things about the structure of my teeth no one has ever explained before. She explained everything in such depth: what was wrong, the process, what to expect, alternatives, etc. Her staff is also great; they explained billing procedures very clearly, which is usually not the case. Highly recommend.

Dr. Park earned her dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she graduated cum laude. Upon graduation, she started her orthodontic training at Montefiore Medical Center. She was named Chief Resident of her class and has been practicing in her own office on Park Avenue in Murray Hill.
She has extensive experience treating both adults and children with the latest innovations in orthodontics.
Dr. Park is experienced in dentofacial orthopedics to prevent more serious orthodontic problems in children. She is also able to treat complex adult cases that require mulitdisciplinary coordination. She values good communication and education of the patient so they can be a full participant in their own treatment.
Dr. Park is a native New Yorker and grew up in Queens. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children. As the mother of two small children, she enjoys sleeping when she can and dancing around to Grover with her daughter and building lego vehicles with her son. She is an avid reader, especially science fiction and a proud Trekkie.

Dr. Park was really nice and fixed my problem quickly and gave great advice on how to take care of my teeth better! She fixed my bottom permanent routainer because it broke and also installed a new top permanent routainer! All in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after my visit with her today. She took the time to fully understand my situation, issues and concerns after which she provided very thorough responses and recommended next steps. Dr. Park is not only very knowledgeable in this field, but she also has excellent bedside manners and seems to really care about her patients. I unfortunately won't be coming to Dr. Park for treatment (as per her suggestion for my situation), but I would instantly recommend her for anyone in need of an orthodontist.

Dr Park is wonderful with kids. My highly energetic 6 year old was treated with patience and kindness. He was scared when he walked in but ended up staying a few min after his appointment only to play with the toys.

I enjoyed my visit with Katherine; however, the office was pretty far out of the way. The office itself was pretty run-down and I felt like I was getting my orthodontic service practically in the waiting room. I also saw very little of her and more of her assistant, which is understandable, but I still would have felt more comfortable with her through the whole appointment. Overall a positive experience!

My son's appt was great! She put him at ease and she was very practical. She developed a sensible plan and showed us several videos detailing the proposed work. A much better experience than our other consultation with an orthodontist on Central Park West.
