About Dr. Daniel Kim
Dr. Daniel Kim grew up in Long Island, NY and has been a New Yorker all his life. Attaining a love for
dentistry through his father who is a general dentist, Dr. Kim continued his education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and was awarded the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Award for Exceptional Interest
in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex.
During his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, he also served as part of the team at the Center for Skeletal Dysplasias at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and received the Dr. Thomas Cangialosi Award in recognition of clinical excellence. Dr. Kim currently teaches as a part-time clinical faculty at Columbia University Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Kim offers the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment. He loves what he does for a living and strives to not only deliver the highest level of care but also to build unique and impressionable relations with all of his patients.

Waited for an hour and a half to see Dr Kim. The staff was friendly, but waiting room was small and a good half hour was spent standing. When I finally saw the Doctor, he barely looked at my mouth and immediately went to recommend jaw surgery. I’ve since been to another doctor who has let me know that is absolutely not necessary to fix my issue. I had a medical issue, Dr Kim assumed my issue was because my jaw made my side profile look “unaesthetically pleasing”
Again, everyone was nice. One of the staff even let me borrow her personal charger. But it was a waste of time for a doctor who did not care much

Zen dentistry is ahead of their time! Dr. Kim is amazing. My personal favorite thing that Dr Kim offers within your consult apt is the smile simulator which shows you an example of how your smile changes overtime with treatment. Makes commiting easier & more understanding.

Went to Union Sq. Location for a cleaning and check up I was greeted upon arrival and offered water, office was very clean. Cleaning was thorough and done in a timely manner. Would def come back.

I came in to Zen Dentistry in Union Square, I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff. Marina did a thorough cleaning and Dr. Gordon was very gentle and informative during my exam.
