Crystal at the front desk was incredibly organized and professional prior to, and during, the appointment. She gathered my insurance # and info ahead of the appointment so they were able to make sure I was covered, and after the appointment, she gave me a DETAILED BREAKDOWN of what I would need to provide out-of-pocket if I took their recommended treatment steps. I've never experienced that, and I was so happy to get a clear list of what it would require for me to get work done at the next appointment. I felt like they had everything super organized. Kevin was super friendly and I felt very comfortable the entire visit. Compared to previous dental offices I've been to, I felt like this appointment was much more thorough. For the first time, I can see myself as a returning customer at this dental office. Thanks, guys!

At an early age, Dr. Cheng realized the positive impact dentistry had on patient's oral health. Today, Dr. Cheng uses dentistry as an outlet to better people's lives by treating their diseases, sharing insight about their dental health, and bringing a smile to their faces.
After graduating cum laude from the University of the Pacific with a bachelor's degree, Dr. Cheng attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he received his doctoral degree. Dr. Cheng is committed to excellence and has taken many courses to become certified in advanced dental fields and techniques. This benefits his patients who can receive the most up to date care possible. Dr. Cheng is an active member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Southern Alameda Dental Society.
As a Bay area native, Dr. Cheng is excited for the opportunity to give back to his community. His philosophy is to provide quality patient-centered dental care and to raise dental awareness in a compassionate manner. Dr. Cheng's goal is to bring a personal approach to your dental care with honesty, patience, and empathy.
During his spare time, Dr. Cheng enjoys hiking on outdoor trails, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new destinations with family and friends.

Excellent visit. Tooth broke and scheduled an appointment same day. Dr. Cheng really listened and clearly explained everything. He whipped up a temporary solution for me and I was on my way. Extremely professional and prompt and excellent chairside manner. Five stars all around for the friendliness of the staff!
