Dr. Nam is a motivated general dentist, providing all aspects of general dentistry, including operative, cosmetic, endodontics, and prosthodontics. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. As he pursues excellent care for patients, he is actively participating in continuing education courses.
Dr. Nam respects patients' autonomy, encouraging patients' participation in treatment decisions. He will provide as much information as possible to patients, to ensure appropriate treatments could be agreed by both Doctor and patients. As a good listener, Dr. Nam will take time to understand his patients' needs and worries. He would answer any questions or concerns, allowing patients are informed and educated. He truly believes that patient's understanding about their dental health condition and maintenance are as important as the dental treatment performed in the office. He would also take time for finding and correcting harmful habits for oral health, as those are easily misunderstood and misguided.
Dr. Nam was born and raised in South Korea. After he moved to US, he attended University of Tennessee for undergraduate in Knoxville, TN and college of dentistry in Memphis, TN. He respects diversity and enjoys culture with different background. He would like to learn many different aspects of life from patients.
Dr. Nam is married with a lovely wife. He loves spending time with her. He also enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with friends.
