About Dr. Ira Adler

Dr. Adler graduated from New York University Dental School In 1976 and did his General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. After his residency, Dr. Adler received additional post-doctoral training in occlusion, orthodontics, and treatment of TMJ dysfunction, at the U.S. Dental Institute. Dr. Adler is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomat in the American Board of Forensic Dentistry. Dr. Adler is a member of the ADA, NJDA, and the Southern NJ Dental Association. Dr. Adler enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Menieres disease, TMJ dysfunction, obstructive sleep disorder and orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Adler has expertise in placing and restoring complex implant procedures. His treatment for TMJ patients will consist of a detailed discussion of the patient’s history, a complete intra and extraoral physical examination and a cone beam three-dimensional study of the temporal mandibular joint and its surrounding structures. After careful evaluation of the aforementioned data, if treatment is indicated numerous options become available including an intraoral appliance, physical therapy, myofascial therapy and orthodontics. In his spare time, Dr. Adler loves to be at home or away having fun with his family, especially his amazing grandchildren!
