All staff and all interactions were friendly, polite and professional. The office felt like a well-oiled machine with a big smile! I was contacted several times before my appointment to have my paperwork ready and dental files transferred. Most medical staff are not this friendly! The technician who took my x-ray was efficient and personable as well. Of course, Dr. Paige was the shining star of the office. Easy to speak with from the beginning, knowledgeable and open. I felt at ease from start to finish and look forward to my next appointment.

Dr. Leo Paige has joined the GVOS team and New York City after practicing in New Jersey. He received his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, graduating with high honors and an award for excellence in Oral Surgery. He then completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, in Newark, NJ,.
Dr. Paige has experience in a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with extensive training in maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, third molar surgery, pediatric and adult anesthesia, pathology and reconstruction. He has also focused on dental implant surgery including CT guided implant placement, sinus grafting, and alveolar ridge grafting.
Leo has held responsibilities in educating dental students and postgraduate students of all dental specialties on an academic and clinical level. This has allowed him to have a better understanding of all aspects of dentistry, specifically in the prosthodontics of implant dentistry. Dr. Paige also traveled to Bangladesh to perform Cleft Lip and Palate surgery serving the under-privileged and educating local surgeons.
Leo is a candidate for board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Paige grew up in Deal, New Jersey, and currently lives in Manhattan. He enjoys theater, traveling and charity work.

I came to Dr. Paige after a series of problematic procedures with other doctors and a situation that prior drs couldn’t solve. I was immediately comforted by his bedside manner and sensitivity to what I had been through. He was able to quickly solve the problem, and the procedure (tooth extraction + bone graft) was virtually painless because of the extra effort took throughout the procedure, including the delivery of the initial numbing shot. Wholeheartedly recommend this doctor.

The best wisdom teeth removal you will ever experience. I had all 4 of mine removed during the same visit with almost no pain or swelling whatsoever! Definitely the best extraction experience I have ever had.
Dr. Paiges bedside manner is incredible and he answers all of your geeky medical questions. I would recommend him to anyone!

There was a moment right before the doctor was about to get started on the extraction; he and the nurse mistakenly thought the tank and tubes were ready but soon realized the tube was not properly placed in order for the ["sleep"] gas to be released. That would have been really unfortunate/painful. Dr. Paige and his nurse took care of this as soon as they noticed the issue and were reassuring and kind from start to finish. Regardless of the fact that I'm fortunate enough to have solid insurance, I just made my final installment to their office last week and I wasn't made aware of the fee until post-gassing. It was disappointing that they were not willingly upfront so I could be prepared. I feel it wasn't the best practice to simply not speak with me, a first-time patient about this until right after I regained consciousness, especially knowing I would need assistance just to make it home that afternoon. I was caught off guard and felt taken advantage of which sucks because Dr. Paige was super chill!
