Do NOT go here if you want a basic dental cleaning or check up. They will keep you there for 2 hours, to find every possible imperfection in your mouth that needs to be fixed and then sit you down for 30 minutes to explain the anticipated out of pocket expense.
New to the D.C. area, I found Dr. Bonner's practice group on ZocDoc by searching proximity to my work, and insurance coverage. My past experiences with ZocDoc Healthcare Professionals have been excellent - absolutely no problems at all. This was not the case with this appointment...
My appointment was for a basic dental cleaning. I scheduled it first thing in the morning, because I have minimal allowed time to be away from work. I got there early to fill out an necessary paperwork (the information from ZocDoc was irrelevant to them). I filled out 6 pages of forms, of which I had to write my address probably 5 times on each page. I was at the office for nearly an hour and a half, all for completely heinous reasons.
In addition to a mediocre dental cleaning, my appointment also included: photos taken of my face and every individual tooth, the dentist poked the gum area of each one of my teeth with a needle, told me I needed to get my veneers removed, and then get new ones put on (for basically no reason), and the list goes on...
Just save yourself the stress/wasted time and go to another dentist!
