I really loved Signature Smiles! All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, and made sure that all of my concerns were heard. I was seen relatively quickly, and they dealt with my insurance super efficiently. Overall, a great experience.

My four year old was a nervous wreck. As soon as we walked in that staff was very welcoming. Waiting theater room was neat. While they took her x-rays the young man that assisted her was very kid friendly and made the process quick and enjoyable. Once the cleaning process started the assistant allowed my daughter to watch a movie and gave her a blanket and explain all the tools that she was using and showed my daughter that it wasn't painful at all. Dr. was also great, she did a quick check while she sang along to Frozen. My daughter left the clinic asking when we would return. :) She said her Dr. was cool! Not to mention the neat toothbrush and toy that she picked out from the treasure box! Thank you all for an amazing visit. Def. looking forward to many visit. Glad we were able to find a great facility that my daughter and I love.

Dr. Levely Castelo was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to South Texas when she was 9 years old. Most people in her family are in the medical field, so she grew up thinking she would be a medical doctor. That changed when she attended South Texas High School for Health Professions and had to take a mandatory 6 week dental class.
Dr Levely attended UT-Pan American in Edinburg, TX and was accepted in the dental program with University of Texas Health Science Center-Dental Branch her freshman year of college. Dr Levely has been working in private practice ever since graduating from dental school.
Dr Levely enjoys living in central Houston and getting to explore the city. She loves trying new restaurants and food trucks as well as going to festivals and sporting events. Although she is a proud Texan at heart, Dr Levely loves the Lakers and the Yankees. She has a dog named Lucy who she calls her daughter. Dr Levely also loves to cook, bake and work on DIY projects.

I have had several bad experiences at dental offices in the past so was a little nervous going to this one. Everyone was so nice, from the time I got there, going out of the way to help me feel welcome and comfortable. The equipment is state of the art and well trained staff. I filled out all my paperwork on line at zocdoc before my appt and had no wait time. Was as great of an experience as going to the dentist could be. ??

The wait time was due to me not being checked into their system properly, so no one knew I was there. The first time I went I was in within 10 minutes of getting there. Dr Castelo is great, and made sure to make me feel comfortable. I was even offered complimentary products to make up for the wait time.

Extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. She, and her assistant, Hilda, made me feel at ease, were very gentle, and displayed humor, with made the visit even that much better. I even appreciated the fact that Dr. Castelo was humming some songs, while she was working on me; made me feel that she really enjoyed what she was doing. Nice office, very high-tech.

I had several issue going on with my teeth, and end of year, i wanted to use my flexi spending account so made appointment to see the dentist. I read the review on Yelp, and this website about this Dentist office, and had high expectation about it. It was more than I expected.Office is clean, systems are high technology, waiting area is calm for adult, and fun for kids. All the staff are very helpful and kind. It was really cold inside, but they had BLANKET!! to use. I was really awesome experience and will recommend to anyone. It has been so long since my last dentist visit, but after the teeth cleaning, it felt so good and clean. Only part was that unlike other office, I did not get after procedure instruction, nor pain relief Rx (or at lease what to do..) I had tooth extraction and once the local anesthetic wore off, I could not sleep! I had to take OTC but still not enough.. it was bad night. I should have called office but it was too late and I did not think I could even get out to pharmacy, so I dealt with it... That was the only part I felt missing care...( my past dentist would give me instruction paper of what to do, eat, drink etc and Rx. Rx was may be not necessary?? so I did not really mind but, I would hope if I had pain reliever for the first night.)
other than that, all the staff, of course Dr C, I think one of the staff name was Ms Gabby, all are very kind and had good experience. I will go back to get my bridge and I have high expectation to this office.

As my first time to this office, I had a nice experience.
All of the technicians were pleasant. They gladly answered any questions I had and explained them if I didn't understand. Going to see the dentist can be uncomfortable and scary but they helped put me to ease. Throughout my time there, they would make sure I was okay and ask me if anything was feeling unpleasant.
The doctor, however, did not have the same bedside manner. She poked and prodded in my mouth, never asking if I was in pain or how I was doing. At one point, I had water running out of my mouth and she kept going until the tech finally had an opportunity to suck it up. Once she was done, she explained what was going on and I was able to understand what was happening in my mouth. I just wish she treated me like a person during and not just a mouth to poke around in.
It wasn't a bad experience, I was expecting the same care and attention that I had gotten right before the doctor came to me.
All in all, a good experience otherwise.
