I chose West Coast Dental of Rancho Cucamonga because they accepted my insurance and had the earliest appointment. I scheduled with Dr. Lilia Kakar, but when I arrived, a male dentist treated me without any notice or explanation. From there, the communication only got worse. I was told I’d get a call explaining my wisdom tooth procedure and coverage details — that call never came. I called multiple times, was told my second insurance was added (it wasn’t), and kept getting different answers every time. When I finally showed up for the procedure, their equipment wasn’t working and the cost I was quoted was completely different from what I was told before. I lost all trust in this office. The staff is unorganized, uncommunicative, and misleading. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — it feels like a bait-and-switch operation. Do your research before trusting them with your care.

They booked me for a 12 PM appointment made me wait over an hour after doing some paperwork and then I sat down for about 45 minutes in the back until I was finally seen and then waited about 25 more minutes until I was told I was gonna be charged for Four fillings even though I had two cavities and the doctor wouldn’t see me to explain why and then they told me they couldn’t provide me service until at three so I was gonna have to wait two hours. Would never recommend anybody goes to this place ever.

Like a lot of other people, going to the dentist is something I am intimidated by. My visit here was very good. The staff is friendly and welcoming and so is Dr. Kim. Unlike some other dentists I was not pressured to pay for services I did not want. I feel my dental health is in good hands.
