Dr. Loren Buonocore is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a board certified pediatric dentist who strives to create positive and life long relationships with her patients and their parents. Dr. Loren’s dedication to her patients, professional demeanor and excellent care, combined with her warm and bubbly personality, make her the right choice to treat your child. She stresses prevention and takes the time needed to get to know every child’s specific needs. She is always available to address any concerns and tailors her treatment options dependent on each child.
Dr. Loren grew up in Westchester County. She went to Binghamton University where she graduated with honors in Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. At Penn, she excelled in her studies and was involved in many community outreach projects. After graduating in 2003, with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, she attended New York University for specialty training in pediatric dentistry. While at NYU, she was selected chief resident and, as such, was assigned the most challenging cases. She worked hard all those years to garner a tremendous wealth of clinical and academic experience which she brings to her private practice.
Dr. Loren has been working for over 10 years in private practice in Westchester and Long Island. As a local resident in Gramercy Park, she realized the need to bring her brand of high quality pediatric dental care to the Chelsea neighborhood and surrounding areas. She is excited to meet and welcome you and your child to Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry!

My son and I had an amazing first visit with Dr. Loren at Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Buonocore & her team were amazing w/ my 3-yr. old for her first visit. They made it so much fun for her, that she has even asked me when she can go back! They were also astounding & very patient with managing my 5-yr. old who is autistic. Dr. Buonocore even suggested bringing him by whenever we are in the neighborhood just to play in their waiting room so that he would be more familiar with them & less anxious during his next visit. I will definitely be bringing my kids back again & again. Great team!

Went through everything with ease. Since it is a small practice, you get a better one on one experience which I love. Very personable, and the office has a corner just for the kids.

Please do yourself a favor and bring your children to Dr. Loren at Chelsea Pediatric Dentistry. She is absolutely fabulous with children and so kind and compassionate. She gave my nervous little girl all the time she needed to get comfortable with procedures. The office is really beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Easy to get an appointment on Saturday. Kayley can't wait for her next check up.

Dr. Loren is the best!!! My son had been to 3 other pediatric dentists in the past few years. He never had a good experience. Today was completely different. He can't wait to go back. He did great, loved the doctor. The office is really impressive and clean. The doctor was super sweet and very professional. Highly highly reccomend.
