Originally from Colombia, Dr. Velasquez earned his dental degree from the University of Florida. He completed additional dental training in implants, crowns, and orthodontics. Dr. Velasquez stays current with the latest technology in dentistry by completing continuing education courses and attending seminars.
Dr. Velasquez sees patients for a variety of reasons including dental exams and cleanings, periodontal disease, cavities, dentures, extractions, and root canals. His practice uses cutting edge technology like CEREC for creating dental restorations. Dr. Velasquez welcomes patients who speak English, French, and Spanish. His awareness of these different languages makes him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Velasquez’s treatment plans are customized to each patient and target the root cause of problems in addition to the symptoms with which they present. Outside of his practice he enjoys sports, bicycles, and running.

I went on 1/1/16 in excruciating pain due to a bad tooth. They broke my tooth. The dentist was so rude to me and condescending. I needed something for the pain and was given antibiotics and told he would not refill them. I will never go back and will tell as many people as possible about his practice. Worst dentist ever!!

He was nice, seemed professional and knowledgeable. The hygienist was nice but brutal. They spoke Spanish over me, I am not comfortable with that. Feels like people are talking about you even if they aren't. I felt like I was at the dentist in a foreign country. I certainly don't mind that, it was just weird.

I had come to him for help validating the severe need for braces that my daughter had. I couldn't afford them on my own. Thanks to the excellent paperwork and photos, Medicaid agreed that there was a need and agreed to cover her braces. I am so grateful for their help. They were all courteous and professional in the office as well.
