About Dr. Armando Ponte
Dr. Armando Ponte is a general and cosmetic dentist born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Western University in Canada, where he served as President of the International Alpha Omega Dental Society, while maintaining his position on the Dean's Honor List. He currently resides and practices Dentistry in sunny South Florida.
Dr. Ponte strongly believes in patient outreach and continuing education. Throughout his academic years, Dr. Ponte pursued numerous developmental opportunities, including volunteering on a mission trip to Treasure Beach, Jamaica, where he provided dental care to an underserved community.
Dr. Ponte prides himself in providing patients with a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to oral health. This involves working with various disciplines of healthcare, including sleep medicine, nutrition, meditation, myofunctional therapy and other disciplines to optimize oral and general health and cater to an array of patient needs. He utilizes a calm and friendly approach to manage patient anxiety and put his patients at ease.
Dr. Ponte provides a range of dental services across all ages, with a focus on creating healthy and beautiful smiles through techniques such as smile design, composite and porcelain veneers, and Invisalign. With years of experience and having crafted hundreds of smiles, Dr. Ponte truly understands how a great smile can boost patients’ confidence and overall well-being.
Dr. Ponte is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and an ambassador with The Breathe Institute. His past memberships include the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the Canadian Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, and the Ontario Dental Association.

I’m truly fortunate to have Dr Ponte as my dentist. He is definitely a highly skilled, knowledgeable, professional dentist and a genuinely all around good person. From the moment you first meet Dr Ponte you know you’ll be in good hands with his focus on patient care his #1 priority. In addition to the regular dental checkups, Dr Ponte has restored two broken/chipped teeth - and the results were amazing. Prior to doing any work he took the time to explain my options and make recommendations. During the procedures he constantly checked in on my comfort, do I need a break, any pain etc. After he checked in a few days later to ensure all was ok. I appreciate the care and guidance he provided and would highly recommend him to all family and friends in need of dental work/advice. Dr Ponte is a leader in dentistry and makes visiting the dentist a positive experience.

I recently had veneers done by Dr. Ponte, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! From the very first consultation, Dr. Ponte took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I was fully informed and comfortable. They look super natural and got them just in time for Christmas!

Dr. Ponte did an amazing job on my veneers! He was professional, detail oriented, and made the whole process smooth. He provided me with a 3D model that allowed me to modify the design and color of my veneers! The results look super natural, and I’m so much more confident with my smile. Highly recommend him for anyone considering veneers!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ponte. From the initial consultation, he thoroughly explained the process and set realistic expectations, which put me at ease. Throughout the treatment, he was attentive and checked in regularly to ensure everything was progressing smoothly. The results have been amazing—my smile is now straight and beautiful, thanks to his skill and dedication. I highly recommend him for anyone considering Invisalign! Five stars all the way!

My experience with Dr. Ponte has been first rate and he has been incredibly dedicated, accommodating and professional throughout the process. He is very knowledgeable and familiar with the latest technologies and practices in the space, and is driven to achieve the best possible results. I had an amazing experience with Invisalign under Dr. Ponte’s care, and I’m beyond happy with the results. Since no attachments were needed with Dr. Ponte’s smile design, the aligners were completely invisible, making the process seamless and discreet. Now, my teeth are perfectly straight, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Highly recommend Dr. Ponte to anyone looking to improve their smile!
