I had a dental emergecy and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Sirenko and her staff were not only empathetic and kind, they were professional. It's not always easy to find doctors with a good bedside manner and friendly office staff.

Lyudmila Sirenko is a thoughtful and compassionate dentist and dental pain specialist serving the cities of Jamaica and Brooklyn in New York. Dr. Sirenko graduated from the Medical Institute College of Dentistry in Kiev, Ukraine with a concentration in stomatology. She then rounded out her dental training at the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with a degree in dental surgery.
Dr. Sirenko is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the Queens County Association. She is practiced at performing a myriad of dental procedures ranging from routine dental cleanings to more complicated processes, such as implant installations. Some of the other procedures she offers include tooth extractions, dental palliative care, teeth whitening, root canal, and dental fillings.
Dr. Sirenko strives to stay current for her patients and provide them with the best comprehensive dental care available. She makes it a priority to educate his patients on the importance of healthy oral habits and is also very sensitive to their needs and comfort. Her consultations are routinely thorough and precise.

First of all, I have never been to a dentist office where they don’t floss your teeth. I came in for a routine cleaning/check up. They never cleaned my teeth!!!! No floss, no tools! Only a polish which makes no sense to me! Then the dentist comes in, did not introduce her self just sat down and told me to open my mouth! I will not be coming back here. The receptionist was very nice and helpful.

My wife and I went in thinking we will be receiving amazing service given all the good reviews we've seen on ZOCDOC. We made an appointment for a deep clean and dental checkup. We got the checkup, but did not get the deep clean. We got the below basic cleaning. No picking or rigorous removal of calculus/plaque. We were in and out of there less than 10 minutes. The "hygienist" seemed like he never used any of the brushing(?) machines before. When asked when the removal of calculus/plaque via scraping was covered by my insurance, the Dentist said it was not. Later, when we called AETNA, they said the deep cleaning is in fact covered and the Dentist should have done the deep cleaning. It was evident that the Dentist just wanted us to keep coming back to continue billing for separate visits. I am never going back and would not recommend this dentist.

I have always hated going to the dentist as it has never been a pleasant experience. However, being in the care of Dr. Sirenko has changed that! She is not only a wonderful dentist, but also a compassionate and honest professional. She is very gentle and informative, she answered all of my questions and concerns.
