About Dr. Tommy Ye
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dr. Tommy Ye is a general, cosmetic & family dentist practicing at Avalon Dental, PC in Bayside Queens. Dr. Ye completed his undergraduate studies at Fordham University and then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU College of Dentistry. He then did his post-graduate residency at Weill Cornell Medical College + Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, a Level-1 trauma center. After his post-graduate training, he entered private practice in Long Island and Queens area where he treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Ye is an adjunct clinical instructor at NYU College of Dentistry where he trains junior and senior dental students. Dr. Ye is also an avid learner and enrolls in multiple continuing education courses, completing over 300 hours each year. His latest certification is in Facial Botox from the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics(AAFE) and Zest Full Arch Implant Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling with his wife.

Great dentist! He explained everything from my X-rays to my questions about a potential root canal. I’m really happy with switching to this Dentist. Everyone was extremely nice. You can find parking easily. And they made sure to inform me of what my insurance covers. Overall I am beyond satisfied.

Dental Office first time visit was a positive, welcoming experience. The front desk young lady was very nice in greeting me & thanking me for completing my registration ahead of time online & offered me a cup of water while waiting to be called by the front waiting area. The only drawback & negative thing was the waiting area by the front desk was a relatively small area than most dental offices.

The office has pure white paint which show extra cleanliness, It has more than one exam room. Dr.Ye is very polite ,always update me with the situation. exam is detail . He is not like some dentist who like to slaughter the patient with expensive procedure which pt not needed. He gave honest opinion. more gentle with cleaning will be nice.

I always fear going to the dentist. Dr Ye and his staff exceeded my expectations and made my experience feel less scary every way they can—putting up music I like, giving me a stress bear, or putting up my fav movie on Netflix or Disney Plus.
Two visits later, Dr Ye transformed my smile and to this day, I got never ending compliments from my family and friends. Dr Ye re-did my broken fillings and cavities on my front teeth and I got a new smile with combinations of crowns and bridges. I felt no pain throughout the procedure and walked looking just like the smile he designed with my feedback in mind.
I cannot thank Dr Ye and his team for my smile!!!

Definitely a lovely experience. Upon entering, the staff were welcoming, kind, and warm. Thank you Lily for being so friendly at reception, Linda for being a great photographer of my teeth, Jimmy for being so thorough with my cleaning, and of course Dr. Tommy for being so helpful, informative and transparent during my visit.
I highly recommend Avalon Dental to anyone in the area!

Great office and staff all around. I got a few implants done with Dr. Ye in the past year and as a person that dreaded going to dentist my whole life, I can't compliment enough on the experience here. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming, the office is new and clean, the wait is never long. Highly recommend booking an appointment ASAP to see Dr. Ye at Avalon.

Highly recommend! I usually don't like going to the dentist but thus far I am happy with Dr. Ye and staff. Everyone was friendly from the start until the end of my visit. Dr. Ye was very informative and transparent about everything and makes sure to find the best treatment option.

Everyone was very kind and accommodating to my appointment. Since this was my first time here, the receptionist took time to explain my insurance coverage before going in to take some xrays. The assistants were all so sweet and also made sure I was comfortable and had music playing to relax me. I then saw Dr Ye who did an amazing job explaining where he saw cavities and how to diagnose them! I was always so so scared going to the dentist but he is really different. Cleanings here are also very gentle. Excellent service and I happily will come from Brooklyn to Queens for all my dental visits :)

Explained procedures very clear and thoroughly. Office staff were extremely friendly and reassuring. I was able to get an appointment immediately due to an emergency and he recommended a specialist that was exceptional. All and all a wonderful experience for someone who hates going to the dentist.

Dr Ye did an amazing job with my front dental implant work and gave me the confidence to smile and to eat again. I cannot thank him enough. Dr Ye was thorough and meticulous with each step of the process. He designed my smile on the computer and work with me to get the shape and color of my temporaries and final work the way I want it. It took me 6 months to get my smile and he made sure that I did not walk away without any teeth during the interim. Their office's financing policy is very transparent. I had implant work done in California and I can assure that the prices he charge is fairly cheaper. Highly recommend this place if you want to get any dental implant work and new smile makeover!!! Do not look any further!

Dr Ye was very thorough and had excellent chairside manner. He did a bunch of fillings and root canals and they were painless!!! Highly recommend him!

Great staff and excellent care from the Dr and his team. Dr Ye took his time and I did not feel my cleaning was rushed at all. The front desk is friendly and explained my insurance well, what’s covered and what’s not. Overall an excellent experience that I’d highly recommend.
