Dr. Marc Novak was raised in northern Connecticut in the town of East Windsor. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with an undergraduate degree and chose to continue on at the institution by completing a Master’s degree in Biochemistry. His research into protein stability led to several pier reviewed publications in well-respected scientific journals. He transitioned his career path to the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He completed a senior externship in advanced Endodontics as well as receiving awards from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
He relocated to New Jersey to complete the rigorous and highly regarded residency program at Morristown Medical Center. His experience at the #1 hospital in New Jersey allowed him to expand his dental training by completing advanced oral surgery procedures, dental implants, pediatric dentistry, and comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation cases. Dr. Novak remains on the Morristown Medical Center staff as an attending physician where he completes operating room sedation dentistry for patients with special needs.
With the constantly evolving field of dentistry, Dr. Novak’s focus is on education, innovation and advancing his skill development to provide the highest quality dental care to his patients. He has furthered his training in the field of dental implants by studying under the renowned Dr. Dennis Tarnow and the Columbia University Dental Implant Continuum. He is a dedicated member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association and Tri-County Dental Society.
